The role

An exciting and dynamic position, a Communications Director is required to manage global campaigns involving media and analyst relations, executive presentations, internal/external messaging, the corporate website, thoughtleader initiatives, events and investor relations.

This position will be based in the Head Office located on the outskirts of Bruges (currently 50 staff, expected to double in the coming year), with regular travel to offices in Brussels. 

Responsibilities
• Create and communicate core messaging that differentiates the company and its technology.
• Develop relationships with marketing teams of key partners and customers to optimise relationships, build internal support for Artilium and communicate about the collaborative innovations resulting from these alliances.
• Manage communications with external agencies and advisors to meet the requirements necessary as a publicly-traded company.
• Manage an aggressive global media and analyst relations campaign (with outside agencies) to position the company as an industry trailblazer.
• Work with executives and tech teams to develop highly impact PowerPoint presentations and collateral.
• Create and manage a highly interactive and informative website.

Requirements
• At least 8 years’ experience managing Marketing Communications and Public Relations
• Experience working in communications and PR for Microsoft and/or affiliated agencies, ideally in the USA
• Experience producing executive communications and C-level PowerPoint presentations
• Native English speaker
• Motivated and enthusiastic “self starter” who takes initiative and drives campaigns and external agencies with maximum effectiveness
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet aggressive deadlines
• Extensive knowledge of the mobile and IT industries; ability to grasp highly technical concepts and translate for a variety of audiences
