POSITION OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES
After an intensive training period you will work, as a Software Engineer within the Development team, together with your colleagues, on the development of our unique telecom solutions. Your versatile task package includes, among other things:
A. Analysing functional specifications and translating them into technical specifications, in consultation with product management and pre-sales.
B. Implementation of the programming in C++ or C# and SQL.
C. Accurately technically documenting the developed software.
D. Carrying out tests of the written software modules and collaborating with the QA department for complete product tests.
E. Examining customer-related problems in consultation with the Operations department, and consequently correcting the software.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Preferable you have some experience with similar tasks as described above.
2. You have a higher IT education (Masters or Engineer).
3. Experience in developing object-oriented software, preferably in a .NET environment is recommended.
4. Thanks to your analytical personality you have the ability to quickly assess situations, and you can rapidly make things clear.
5. You work systematically and are results-oriented, where your flexibility allows you to continually come across in an innovative way.
6. You are fluent in your use of the English language, both in written and spoken form.

FUNCTIE INHOUD & VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN
Als Software Engineer binnen het Development team, werkt u samen met uw collega’s aan de uitbouw van onze unieke telecomoplossingen. Tot uw veelzijdig takenpakket behoren o.a. :
A. Functionele specificaties analyseren en vertalen naar technische specificaties, in overleg met product management en pre-sales.
B. Uitvoeren van de programmatie in C++ of C# en SQL.
C. Nauwkeurig technisch documenteren van de ontwikkelde software.
D. Zelf testen van de geschreven softwaremodules en samenwerken met de kwaliteitsverantwoordelijke voor het uitvoeren van complete producttesten.
E. In overleg met de Operations afdeling klantgerelateerde problemen onderzoeken en softwarematig oplossen.
GEWENSTE KWALIFICATIES
1. U heeft bij voorkeur een eerste succesvolle ervaring met soortgelijke taken en verantwoordelijkheden zoals hierboven omschreven van A t/m E.
2. U heeft een hogere informaticaopleiding genoten (licentiaat, master of ingenieur).
3. Ervaring in het ontwikkelen van objectgeoriënteerde software, bij voorkeur in een .NET omgeving, strekt tot aanbeveling.
4. Dankzij uw analytische persoonlijkheid beschikt u over een groot inlevingsvermogen en kan u snel dingen duidelijk maken.
5. U werkt systematisch en resultaatgericht, waarbij uw flexibiliteit u toelaat steeds innovatief voor de dag te komen.
6. U heeft een zeer goede kennis van de Engelse taal, zowel gesproken als geschreven.
