POSITION PROFILE & RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Program Manager, you will actively cooperate in the conception of our new products. Your versatile task package includes, among other things:
A. Analysing requests in a detailed way, in direct contact with customers and internal project managers.
B. Writing the functional specifications to provide an extended description of the technical possibilities of the future product.
C. Consulting your colleagues of Development, Operations and Sales to review the technical specifications and to work towards a planning.
D. Monitoring and guiding the development and testing phases, and making sure all phases comply with the original functional specifications.
E. Spotting market developments and contributing to sourcing new products.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience with similar tasks as described in the roles and responsibilities.
2. Education in IT or electronics at an engineer’s level with emphasis and thorough knowledge of telecom (voice, data, messaging, VoIP).
3. Experience in consultancy assignments in ICT and/or software development or even editing technical documents is recommended.
4. You are a great listener and have the ability to easily assess situations.
5. As an analytic person, you can be original and even like to be creative.
6. You like to take the initiative and have a flexible attitude, which follows by nature from your dynamic and driven personality.
7. You are fluent in your use of the English language, both in written and spoken form.

FUNCTIE INHOUD & VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN
Als Program Manager binnen het Program Management Team werkt u actief mee aan de conceptie van onze nieuwe producten. Tot uw veelzijdig takenpakket behoren o.a. :
A. In rechtstreeks contact met de klanten en de interne project managers hun aanvragen gedetailleerd analyseren.
B. Opstellen van de functionele specificaties, die de technische mogelijkheden van het uiteindelijke product uitgebreid beschrijven.
C. Nauw overleggen met de collega’s van Development, Operations en Sales om de functionele specificaties te reviewen, met als doel naar een planning toe te werken.
D. Opvolgen en sturen van de ontwikkeling en testfases en nagaan of deze overeenkomen met de originele functionele specificaties.
E. Signaleren van marktontwikkelingen en een bijdrage leveren aan het uitzoeken van nieuwe producten.
GEWENSTE KWALIFICATIES
1. U heeft bij voorkeur een eerste succesvolle ervaring met de taken hierboven beschreven van A tot en met E.
2. U heeft een informatica- of elektronicaopleiding genoten op ingenieursniveau, maar beschikt vooral over een goede basiskennis van telecom (voice, data, messaging, VoIP ).
3. Ervaring in consultancy opdrachten in de ICT en/of het opstellen van technische documenten strekt tot aanbeveling.
4. U bent zeer luistervaardig en beschikt over een groot inlevingsvermogen.
5. Als analytisch ingesteld persoon kan u oorspronkelijk uit de hoek komen en toont u zich creatief.
6. U neemt graag het initiatief en stelt zich moeiteloos flexibel op, wat van nature volgt uit uw dynamische en gedreven persoonlijkheid.
