POSITION PROFILE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the Development team you will, together with your colleagues, be responsible for the permanent improvement of the Artilium products in a proactive way. Your versatile task package includes, among other things:
A. Translating functional specifications of planned products into test specifications by performing a requirements analysis and defining test scenarios, scripts and data.
B. Setting up appropriate test systems in an MS Windows server environment using SQL databases and telecom interfaces.
C. Structured implementation of validation activities, acceptance tests, general system tests, and stability and performance tests on products which are developed within the Development team.
D. Precise documenting of the test results and, in consultation with the software developers, keeping an overview regarding which matters are still open in order to put out releases.
E. Writing clear test reports and end reports, both to customers and to colleagues, and checking whether the technical documentation corresponds with the real possibilities of the products.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Preferable you have some experience with similar tasks as described above from A to E.
2. You have had education in IT or electronics, and especially display a thorough knowledge of Windows Server, SQL Server and networking. Knowledge of telecom is a plus (SS7, SIP, VoIP).
3. Experience with Quality Assurance on company-critical server programs is recommended.
4. You can rapidly make things clear and have the ability to easily assess situations, where you show yourself to be persistent, and come across inventively.
5. Thanks to your good analytical capacities, you have a pragmatic attitude and always work in a structured manner.
6. You are fluent in your use of the English language, both in written and spoken form.

FUNCTIE INHOUD & VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN
Binnen het Development team bent u samen met uw collega’s op een pro-actieve manier verantwoordelijk voor de permanente verbetering van de Artilium producten. Tot uw veelzijdige takenpakket behoort o.a.:
A. Functionele specificaties van geplande producten vertalen naar testspecificaties door het maken van een behoefteanalyse, definiëren van testscenario’s, -scripts en -data.
B. Opzetten van gepaste testsystemen in een MS Windows serveromgeving, gebruik makend van SQL databanken en telecom interfaces.
C. Gestructureerd uitvoeren van validatie activiteiten, acceptatie testen, algemene systeemtesten, stabiliteits- en performantietesten op producten die binnen het Development team ontwikkeld worden.
D. Nauwkeurig documenteren van de testresultaten en in overleg met de software developers een overzicht bijhouden welke zaken nog openstaan om releases te kunnen vrijgeven.
E. Schrijven van duidelijke testrapporten en eindverslagen, zowel naar klanten als naar collega’s en controleren of de technische documentatie overeenkomt met reële mogelijkheden van de producten.
GEWENSTE KWALIFICATIES
1. U heeft bij voorkeur een eerste succesvolle ervaring met soortgelijke taken en verantwoordelijkheden zoals hierboven omschreven van A t/m E.
2. U heeft een informatica- of electronicaopleiding genoten, maar geeft vooral blijk van een grondige kennis van Windows 200x Server, SQL Server en networking. Kennis van telecom is een pluspunt ( SS7, SIP, VoIP ).
3. Ervaring met Quality Assurance op bedrijfskritische serverprogramma’s strekt tot aanbeveling.
4. U kan snel dingen duidelijk maken en beschikt over een groot inlevingsvermogen, waarbij u zich vasthoudend toont en inventief voor de dag komt.
5. Door uw goede analytische capaciteiten heeft u een pragmatisch instelling en werkt u steeds op een gestructureerde manier.
6. U heeft een zeer goede kennis van de Engelse taal, zowel gesproken als geschreven.
