Appointment of Non-Executive Director
Artilium plc (LSE: ARTA) the AIM listed provider of telecommunication and unified technology solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of a further Non-Executive Director to the Company’s Board.
Philip Kendall, 59, joins Artilium as Non-Executive Director and brings with him a wealth of experience in the global capital markets arena, having spent some 30 years in the City and on Wall Street. Starting with Baring Brothers in London and New York, he subsequently acted
as a Board member of Samuel Montagu for 12 years. Most recently, as a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers, Philip headed the firm’s practice in listed company advisory work, in particular developing their significant position in public-to-private takeovers. His extensive
bid experience includes retail, media, property, and financial services, both domestic and international.
Between September 2005 and April 2007, Philip served as a Non-Executive Director at Compel Group plc: a leading provider of IT solutions which was purchased by and became part of the 2e2 Group in March 2007. Philip is currently a Senior Adviser at Hawkpoint
Partners Ltd, a leading independent corporate finance advisory firm and since May 2007, Philip has also held the Non-Executive Chairmanship of Rugby Estates Investment Trust plc: a London-listed ‘REIT’ focused on building a portfolio of investment properties across the UK.
Philip holds a BA Honours degree in English from Balliol College Oxford and also holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Manchester Business School. Joining the Board with immediate effect, Philip’s appointment brings the total Non-Executive representation on
Artilium’s Board to four directors.
