Overview
The ARTA Mobile Services Platform provides a dynamic media orchestration and session control infrastructure that enables rapid connectivity, secure mobile network access, and cross-network interoperability. Direct Network Access facilitates persistent ‘always-on’ intelligent signal and content processing and routing within and cross-network, as well as handset agnosticism for multi-application universality.
Direct Network Access offers the following value propositions to the mobile operator:
- Connects to the heart of the mobile network;
- Can layer over existing subscribers;
- Enables control over media;
- Can connect to multiple networks and
- Enables cloud based delivery (as a service over the internet).
Integration
The ARTA Mobile Services Platform consists of 1) an Intelligent Network (IN) platform (Communication Agents and Communication Foundation) providing AAA services to deliver traditional telco services, 2) a Mobile Presence platform, and 3) an exposure layer (Service Execution Environment and The AppLAB), extending the IN platform with mobile application capabilities. Thanks to the modularity of ARTA Mobile Services Platform, components can be installed as needed:
- Installation of fully-fledged ARTA Mobile Services Platform providing both IN and mobile application capabilities;
- Installation of Mobile Application part of the platform, providing mobile application capabilities in extension to existing third-party IN platforms;
- Installation of IN part of the platform, just providing AAA services.
Multi-tenancy MVNO
Because of ARTA’s layered architecture, the platform isolates Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) from the core network. This enables operators to engage a new MVNO using minimal resources and time and leads to a rapid, cost effective deployment of new services and offerings. Read more
