Fixed Mobile Convergence

Overview

The ultimate goal of Fixed/mobile convergence (FMC) is to optimize the transmission of all data, voice and video communication to and among end users, no matter what their locations or devices. FMC means the integration of fixed, mobile and IP networks. This not only enhances user experience through increased simplicity, but also allows for the development of innovative new services and pricing plans.

One personal number and invoice

ARTA’s one personal number routing technology simplifies the complexity of maintaining multiple numbers (work, home, personal mobile, work mobile). Offering users one number, operators can let users direct incoming calls while ARTA passes them on to the most appropriate contact device at that time. Services can be rated and charged real-time, also enabling the aggregated billing of multiple numbers, services or price plans.

Find Me/Follow Me

Artilium’s mobile presence and intelligent routing capabilities, allows the user to receive communications at any location (Find Me) and to be reached at any of several phone devices (Follow Me). The ARTA platform enables these services for the entire telecom infrastructure (mobile, fixed and IP based).

Social networking

With the introduction of ever-advanced smart phones, social networks have extended from the traditional desktop environment to the mobile. ARTA enhances the mobile proposition of social networks by offering continuous location awareness and integration with mobile telecom environments.

AppLAB

ARTA’s AppLAB enables users, social networks and operators to create valuable cloud-delivered mobile services that unlock (desktop) functionality to a variety of handsets, including those of the non-smart phone type.
