Commenting on the agreement, Kristof Van de Putte, COO of Artilium, said: “Our new partnership with Lycamobile is a direct response to the new anti-terrorism laws announced last year. Lycamobile is concerned about losing customers if the registration process is too cumbersome. We offer an elegant solution that makes the registration process incredibly simple for consumers, enabling them to use their physical documents for digital registration and ID verification. The integrated Artilium KYC product enable Lycamobile to let legitimate customers easily register to use their innovative mobile services, which is key to their expansion into new markets throughout Europe as more countries pass similar laws for SIM card registration.”
